Portrait
Anne Yoro was born in 1965 from a French mother and an Ivorian father.
She grows up in Abidjan where she studies Economy. She started a very
promising career when she realizes the crises that France and Ivory
Coast will be going through. She works in Paris since 2002.
Self taught in art, it's in 1998 that she started her journey as an
artist. Anne is not mold by any school. She's independant, she's
unclassifiable, she rejects duality and advocates unicity of mixed
backgrounds as the garantee of the world's wealth we have to share.
Facing globalization, she wonders about the notions of conscience,
freedom, transformation of multiple identities, in spaces where points
of references and bearings are fading before the mighty god of ultra
liberalism.
