Born in Porto under the spell of the Atlantic Ocean, in a land of poets and sailors.
After a first dive into the mysteries of the world as a Research Scientist, Miguel started his Theatre career in Portugal, and has since worked as an actor, director or producer in Scotland, Czech Republic, France, Cape Verde, Greece, Italy, and England. In Cinema he acted in 4 feature films, several short films, along with a few experiences in TV and Commercials.
Miguel is fluent in English, Spanish, and French; he gets by with Italian and with Cape Verde’s Creole. At the moment Miguel is about to complete his MA in Physical Theatre (University of London).
The feature-length documentary “mim’delo” is Miguel’s first journey as a cinema director.
