At its 1st Anniversary, GreenFest Afrika Music & Arts Festival is a green festival positioned as one of Africa’s premier festivals for international and home-grown artistic talent.

This 3-day innovative green culture and technology-themed festival will reflect the hip and environmentally-conscious music community by fusing original live music. GreenFest is where thousands of people who care for the environment will unite to enjoy high quality music, art and discover new ways to go "green." GreenFest hosts the first Eco-Village in the region and utilizes volunteers and promotes sustainable volunteerism. The 3-day festival will be held from 31st Dec 2010 – 2nd January 2011.

In addition to stimulating Artistic growth, GreenFest also works towards battling effects of climate change and availing adaptation solutions. The Festival is a program under the ‘Voices for our Planet’ by Beryll Foundation (www.beryllfoundation.org).
